Tips for choosing a Milwaukee location for your Engagement Photos

If you’re a Milwaukee local you may have a few spots that you’re already considering for your engagement photos, but let me give you some tips!

• Ask your photographer for their favorite locations! I have a list of my favorite places to photograph for engagement sessions with a variety of different looks for my clients to choose from. But often times these places are TOP SECRET! If I gave them away they would quickly become overcrowded, so my clients get exclusive access to my list!
• Pick a meaningful and memorable location – maybe you two met at a very unique place that you would like to capture like at a library. Or you both really love a small coffee shop and have a ritual of stopping in every Sunday together. 
• Make it breathtaking! As I have mentioned before, this is a HUGE moment for both of you. Make this moment truly beautiful – somewhere that is going to set the tone for the event at hand – involving a ring on someone’s left hand!
• Make it a surprise! Keep the proposal a secret between you, your photographer, and God! Don’t tell anyone else, and DON’T drop hints! This will make for magical moments when you do drop to one knee and pop the question!
