Family sessions are HARD on Mama’s! Don’t I know it! We try our best to get everyone fed, dressed, well rested, and happy before family photos and trust me, I know that is a JOB! As a Mama myself, a photographer, and a former daycare teacher, I have several tricks up my sleeves that allows me to capture those precious moments you are wanting to treasure! A full length family portrait session is also plenty of time to work through any “moments” your little may have. The biggest tip of advise I can offer is this: don’t stress it – our little ones pick up on our energy and will react accordingly. Try to relax during your session, smile, and allow me to capture these precious memories.

During my Consultation process I will walk you through all my best tips to help prepare your little ones and discuss what we can do to customize your session based on your family’s specific needs. You will also receive my handy Client Welcome Guide. Which has so many helpful tips to prepare your family before your session. 

Because sometimes little ones aren’t always on our schedule even if we’d like them to be, my family sessions are scheduled for 1-2 hours.
Just in case we have a not so easy to warm up toddler, or if littles need a play break or a snack. However, not all family sessions require the full 2 hours; sometimes they’re shorter (anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours)!
