Hi, I’m Rachel.
I am a Mama photographer located in Humboldt County, California and seasonally serving the Milwaukee, WI area specializing in Newborn Photography, Maternity Photography, Baby Photography, Family Photography, and Brand Photography. I offer sessions year-round in my studio (located in Eureka), in my clients homes, in the hospital, or outdoors throughout the Humboldt County area.
If you’re anything like me your phone is filled with hundreds of sweet candid photos of your kiddos and husband with a grand total of maybe 5 (decent) photos of me with my kiddos taken at the worst possible angles, in my pajamas, with a messy bun and all the double chins showing… Let’s face it, Dad doesn’t exactly understand the meaning of “good angles” (insert eye roll). Welcome to the club, Mama!
My job is to capture your beautiful family, right now in this moment. Quick — before you blink and they are all grown up and driving off to college! And yes; I will capture only your best angles, we will have the most beautiful professional lighting, and a wardrobe all prepared for you. Because I know you have a million other little things to do! I capture photos that you, your family, and your little ones will treasure forever and pass on to their little ones. Ok, this Mama is crying now!

I have been married to the love of my life for the last 7 years. I met my Alaskan man while he was stationed in Florida (yep, I’m a Florida girl!), and knew INSTANTLY that we were meant to be. So we’ve been inseparable ever since!
The Coast Guard moved us to Milwaukee in 2019. Where I started my career as a Physical Therapist Assistant (my dream job – that I worked SO hard for). Little did we know our lives were about to change! God blessed us in 2021 with the start of our next great adventure; becoming parents!
After becoming a Mama, my whole world changed – for the better! I discovered a new love for this tiny little soul that blessed our lives and changed our hearts. I started documenting our journey, and the maternity and motherhood journey of others and their babies. When I realized photography is truly what makes my heart sing!
I love that photography gives me the gift of being able to stop the clock and capture these beautiful moments in time. I hope that you will continue to follow me on my journey.

LOVE TO EAT:
Literally anything – and let me tell you I can put down some food! Especially since I started breastfeeding! Sushi, Mexican food, buffalo chicken wings, give me all the fresh fruit!
IF I WASN´T A PHOTOGRAPHER..
I’d probably still be a Physical Therapist Assistant. I really did love motivating, challenging, and improving the lives of my patients.
MY FAVORITE MUSIC
I have always loved singing and music since I was young. It runs in my family! I love anything from opera, to broadway musicals, country, 80’s Rock, some Disco Funk, and yes, even some hip hop and rap! My favorite artists are Whitney Huston, Old Dominion, and ACDC.
I´M MOST THANKFUL FOR:
My family! My husband, who is my rock! Our sweet little guys Weston, & Wyatt who inspire me to treasure every moment and be the best Mama I can be! My parents, who taught me to chase after my dreams. Last, but certainly not least, I have to give the Lord all the credit! Because through him all things are possible!
