Where is your studio located and do you travel?
My new studio is located in Eureka, CA. But I also offer portrait sessions in my client’s homes, in the hospital, and outdoors; proudly serving the greater Humboldt County, California area. Seasonally I also travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for sessions outdoors, in-studio, in the hospital, and in my client’s homes.
How many pictures will we receive in our gallery?
For a 1 hour photoshoot, your gallery will contain between 30 to 40 images for you to choose your favorites from to create artwork for your home. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that’s why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story. But I also like to provide you with enough variety to choose from so that you can pick out your favorites from the bunch.
What is your consultation?
I love being a part of the entire creative process while planning your session. During the consultation we will discuss all the pretty details, reviewing what you would like your session to look like. Including selecting props or backdrop options that are available, selecting outfits for your wardrobe, planning outfits and accessories for your little ones, and reviewing artwork for your session. It’s really exciting for me to receive photos of your wardrobes, shoes, themes/color schemes, rooms in your home where you may like some wall art, or any other special items you want to include in your session. My Client closet is also available with seasonally curated pieces for Moms and babies.
When will we get our photos?
We will be in touch to schedule your viewing appointment within a maximum of 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season, type of session, or location of your photoshoot). During your ordering appointment I will help you choose your favorites, plan the layout and design of your artwork for your home, and place an order.
